Ethan2Rock has been so kind in allowing me to bloviate here on whatever is on my mind for the day. Thanks guys! You ROCK!Since this is my first attempt at blogging, it may be a bit rough at first, but be patient with me as I settle in to it.This first entry is just to kind of get to know you…or for you to get to know a bit about me at least. I have been involved with music, on-and-off, since I was about eight years old. That first recording I made at age eight will live on in memory for as long as I live…and so will the memory of the trouble I got in for ruining one of my older brother’s prize tapes! LOL!I am also a writer by hobby. I have several books in the works at this time…not least of which is a continuing autobiography. I say “continuing” because the last chapter in that book has not been written yet.In addition to writing stories and books, I also write music and songs…or at least my version of such! LOL!So that is a little bit about myself. In my next several entries I will tell you a bit about my musical background. From my first go at playing for people right up to the current day and Loose Wheel Productions. And even some pretty funny stuff about gigs gone bad.:] …Hmmmm, maybe I need to rethink that last bit. Might scare some people away from music! LOL! And yes, the story of how I met Ethan and Family will be here as well. They were kind enough to give me permission to tell it here.I cannot say enough how much it truly means to me to have this chance to tell my stories and kind of ramble on about things. It is an honour to be a part of this terrific website! But above all else, I am honoured to call Ethan and his entire family my friends. This is a true treasure that surely is worth more than any money or fame could ever be. No matter what, that friendship is top of my list of honors….as it shall always be.Feel free to come back and look for future installments. There will be many I am sure! And at “random” too! You just never know when the urge to “ramble” will hit me.Thus, welcome once again to Rick’s Random Ramblings”. Hey Ethan. I hope you don’t mind, but I kind of took one of your ideas with the word Random. Just seemed appropriate to call it that in honour of your Random Rock Show.So long everyone! See you in the next installment! And like Ethan says…You ROCK!

WOW you have a “corner” thats sooooo cool!! I look forward to hearing some of the stories you have to tell about the musical path you were able to take, and even the “gigs gone bad”, lol.
I am between places at the moment and just managed to get Skype back on yesterday so have been a bit messed around of late. However I am getting some direction now, and will definately come back to see the newest ramblings from a man with a toy! YES a Verrrrrry BIG toy!! Howz that toy going I wonder???
