A Feelers song called ‘The Fear’ recorded by Ethan James

Well it was only a matter of time before this talented young guy from New Zealand came out with another great performance! No surprise here, with yet another fantastic song, accompanied by a great video, and a song sung with passion! “The Feelers”, a prominent NZ band are a favourite of Ethan’s and this is another great cover of a song titled “The Fear”, originally produced by the band.

This is another song that can reach the deepest places inside us all, to reveal some of those times in our life when things could be goinf just a little better than they are. For me, it boiught to the surface all those times at school when I was living with an alcoholic father, enduring the daily pain of school bullying, and feeling like the world had left me behind. This song remnds us all that without support, love and encouragement from the places we should be receiving it, life can truly be a struggle.

‘Another Feelers song called ‘Fishing For Lisa’

I heard this song – Fishing for Lisa. Had to have a go, I hope you will like it. The song is by the Feelers, An awesome New Zealand band. The song is, Fishing for Lisa and I thought it would be a nice way to see out 2008 and welcome in 2009. I had also written to James Reid of the Feelers and asked him if it would be Ok to submit this video. He agreed after viewing the video and hearing my take on this great song. That’s pretty cool i think.

”Wonderwall’ – One Year On, by Ethan James

Well, OK, it’s still my own take on this great classic. Not the same as Oasis. These brothers are pure genius. It’s just time to cover it again and hopefully you’ll enjoy this version of my take on Wonderwall.

”Where Do The Children Play’ by Ethan James

Ethan2Rock performs a cover of Cat Stevens, “Where Do The Children Play” It’s a great song and is still very much as valid today as it was many years ago.

”Someday’ by Nickelback, & covered by Ethan James

Nickelback, Ethan performs “Someday” Close friend and fellow musician Richard Gannaway kindly helps out on the drums. Very cool feel with the good old classic black and white look. This video came about because of a jam session and ended with this classic rock song. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did performing it.

First time on stage with a 3 piece band in a local talent show. This time i have a couple friends helping me out with this great classic from Tom Petty. I really loved doing this song for my mum on her birthday. Very Cool and a little scary too.
